Rebates and More Helps You Conserve and Save

Of the many go green initiatives that help our town prosper, water conservation is one of our top priorities. And, to make it easier for it to become a priority to you too, we have become a member of the Broward Water Partnership’s Water Conservation and Incentives Program.

The Program, which kicked off Sept. 30, provides rebates and free water-conserving devices to qualifying Town of Hillsboro Beach residents, and has an aggressive community outreach and education component.

The goal is to save water, save money and the environment by simply taking advantage of the incentives and rebates we are providing.

But to be truly effective, we need your help in informing the community about this program by telling your family, neighbors and friends. Your friends will thank you, and so will the environment! Start conserving today.

Our Program

Whatever your reasons may have been for not conserving water we have the perfect incentives for qualifying Town of Hillsboro Beach residents to start making conservation a priority. We are providing rebates and free water-conserving devices. Funding and supplies are limited so don’t delay. Read below to find out more details about how you can save water and money.

Rebates

Qualifying participants are encouraged to replace their current toilet(s) that use(s) more than 1.6 gallons of water per flush with WaterSense® certified High-Efficiency Toilets (HET). Rebates are provided for up $100 each, or the cost of the HET, whichever is less.

Single-family, townhouse and condo applicants may receive up to two (2) rebates per qualifying water accountholder and must own and reside in the home at which they are replacing the toilet(s).

Property owners, and property managers who are authorized by property owners, of multi-family housing units, not-for-profit agencies, commercial buildings and institutional facilities may receive up to five (5) rebates or may submit a request to receive more.

Incentives

We are also providing free, low-flow water faucet aerators and showerheads to residential customers. You must bring us your old showerhead in order to receive a new showerhead; however, you do not need to bring us your old aerators.
