The Broward Water Partnership is making it easy for residents to save Broward County’s limited water resources. Through the GimmeARebate Program, pre-approved applicants can get up to two rebates per household for up to $100 each for replacing their old, inefficient toilets with a WaterSense®-approved High-Efficiency Toilet (HET) that uses 1.28 gallons per flush or less. WaterSense® dual flush toilets must also use 1.28 gpf or less for both flush options. (Please note: toilets purchased prior to your application being approved will NOT be eligible for a rebate.)
But that’s not all; low flow showerheads and faucet aerators are being distributed while supplies last.
For businesses, we’re providing pre-rinse spray valves.

Steps to Getting Your Rebate
Getting your rebate is easy. We’ve provided six simple steps to guide you through this process. Learn more about this program.
Complete Your Application Online
Please select the appropriate button below to apply for your toilet rebate. You will need important information from your utility bill to apply, so please have it handy before you begin the application process. Once you submit your application, you must wait for written confirmation that your application has been approved. If you purchase your toilet prior to receiving written approval, it will NOT be eligible for a rebate.
Download An Application and Mail it In
If you prefer to mail in your application, simply click on the appropriate button to download and print your application. You will have the option of filling in the application before you print it, or simply printing the form application with empty fields for later completion. For either option, you will need important information from your water utility bill, so have it handy for easy reference. Once completed, simply mail it to the address listed on the application. Remember, you cannot purchase your toilet until you receive written notification that you have been approved.
(Please note: Applications will only be accepted and approved from qualifying participants while funding is still available. Once the funding is exhausted, no new funding will become available until October 2012. That means, when the funding runs out, the rebates will be discontinued until next year. We encourage you to apply as efficiently as possible by applying online.)
Submitting Your Receipts
There are a couple of ways to submit your receipts and required documentation. However, regardless of the method you select, you must submit the required materials to the Rebate Administrator no later than 45 days after you are approved to purchase your toilet. Failure to do so will result in your application being canceled so that the funds may be reallocated. Hurry and don’t delay in getting your documentation submitted.
